man in the pub 51 Report post Posted January 11 It depends on the context really, if he is one off amongst a few decent experienced signings then its a worthwhile gamble having a look at him... The issue 2 years ago was getting in 7 or 8 at the same time of them and expecting success. For every Mbamba theres a Hugill. Probably more like 20 Mbambas to 1 Hugill. Santa 165 Report post Posted January 11 I'd imagine the Spanish 4th tier is shocking - Primera - Segunda - Segunda B (regional) - Tercera (even more regional) CP San Cristóbal play in Group 5 of the Tercera.
cheshirevaliant 86 Report post Posted January 11 Let's hope Aspin does, never mind us! Too many 'potential' strike partners for Tom Pope appear to have fallen by the wayside in Aspin's time in charge. And the common denominator is...... They are all *****? darren1810 163 Report post Posted January 11 Anybody can put a YouTube compilation on. Wasn't there a wonder goal from Chris Regis doing the rounds , also I'm sure Forrester was Hawking himself around to clubs via YouTube. Is it April 1st ?
philmpv 77 Report post Posted January 11 Anybody can put a YouTube compilation on. Wasn't there a wonder goal from Chris Regis doing the rounds , also I'm sure Forrester was Hawking himself around to clubs via YouTube. Is it April 1st ? Agreed, but to be fair, even if the initial interest came from something such as a YT video, he appears to have been invited over for a Trial and impressed, so it doesn't appear to be another Mbamba/Cicila/Shalaj situation where all our scouts had to have as a job requirement was a broadband connection. jjvale_03 70 Report post Posted January 11 Every January we get absolutely mugged off. Norman Smurthwaite isn't even trying to cover up the fact he's taking the **** anymore. This is akin to signing someone from the PDSL.

Bycarsbill 107 Report post Posted January 11 No one’s heard of him and he plays abroad ? That sounds familiar. I didn't realise we had any scouting facilities across Europe--wow, we must be a bigger club than I thought!!!

Santa 165 Report post Posted January 11 Norm spends so much of his time scouting on YouTube I'm surprised he hasn't tried to sign a cat that's run into a patio door.
