Match Thread - Lincoln City v Port Vale

Didn’t create enough but glad for the point. Papers over the cracks a little but that shape with wingers instead of centre kids on the wing and another striker such as Dior alongside Pope should be enough to sit comfortably in mid table. Replacement for Clarke if he goes at left back

Superb point.

Will hold my hands up and say I don’t think oyleke deserved to play today on form, but well done that man! Don’t think he’s a bad player just not at his best over recent weeks but he has pulled a crucial goal out of the hat for Aspin today. Let’s show some of this fight on a more consistent basis.

Anyone that went today deserves that reward after the last few weeks!

Just imagine what might have happened if we'd started the previous 5 games with full backs playing at full back.

Perhaps the 'Fantasy Football Managers' on here do know better than Aspin after all. :whistling:

From the Stokinel:

Neil Aspin may be leaving the club

The manager has just done his post-match interview.

He says he doesn’t know if he will be in charge for the next game.

He’s not convinced supporters want him to stay and is set to meet Norman Smurthwaite, probably on Thursday, when his future should be sorted.

Hanging by a thread.
