Smurf on the cost of repair.

That is the case TP. But, unfortunately, the FA won't draw that distinction when they come to look at the disorder caused by the hooligan element of Stoke fans on Tuesday. The FA regs apply to all persons purporting to be a club's supporters or followers (FA Handbook Para 20). The regs also point out the exceptional circumstances it will take into account and they don't include a defence that they're just so-called supporters (not that I'm implying in any way that you would endorse such an excuse).

Yes it’s Vales fault for scoring two more goals before half time. That really upset the poor Stokies expecting to beat us.

That should have been the first thing Stoke did.

No class mate.

One of the Coates family needs to stand up and be counted.

Norman would surely have done so. Imagine if Vale had done likewise at the Bet365?

They would have pushed for expulsion from the league for the Vale and demanded repairs funded even at a cost of administration if applicable.

It seems in the 16 or 17 years since we last met they have forgotten their roots and the good people of Stoke of Trent in which 95% of fans are proud to be associated with their club.

"You'll never beat the Vale!" comes to mind both on and OFF the pitch...

Really have Radio Joke or the senile contacted them for a comment.

Answer no.

The senile should force Martin Smith to apologise to Port Vale or lose his column.

Radio Joke should also make Blakeman apologise for his biased view against Vale or at least comment about it.

As usual he has vanished into thin air.

Have Stoke City actually apologised to Port Vale for the actions of these mindless thugs that caused all this carnage??

No a bit and don't expect them to either. Family are probably laughing over their cuppas at this very moment saying - well done lads. We are so proud of them - have a season ticket on us.

I’m not going to bash Smurf on this one. Stoke City fans caused that damage and Stoke City football club should pay for it.

£75k would pay for a very good player or one of the mediocre ones from Stoke’s academy.

Stoke should do the decent thing and pay.

Having said that Smurf is having a laugh to say we do not have the means. The gate take for that match alone would cover it.

Why should we pay for the mindless acts of Sjoke thugs. The money raised from these games was meant to help fund players for Neil Aspin not to repair damage done in the away end.

Looks like stoke are trying to set up a crowd fund for the ladies car on the oatcake.

That will be the proper Stoke Fans - not those who hijacked Stoke to cause problems and have what they call a good time smashing things up for a laugh. Hope the police start rounding them up soon. But they will just get a way with a slap on the wrist and your barred from football games for a couple of years.

Damage control? It’s a few posts on a message board my opinion means jack in the grand scheme of things.

A percentage of the fans have absolutely embarrassed themselves, It will be forgotten about in days to come.

Not by the police, the courts and the people of North Staffordshire.

I'm the first one to bash Smurf but I will back him 100% on this one. Come on Smurf let's have a few comments on OVF off you slating that Shower of scum that have attacked your Stadium. Get it off your chest.

This is what you'd expect Smurf to have done. May be he is learning or someone has taken away is laptop and phone so he can't.

Just shows what Sjoke's Directors/Owners are like though not condemning the thugs that used their club name to cause this damage and beat up people around Burslem.

And not forgotten by many others too well outside North Staffordshire. Talking to an Arsenal supporter today, he told me he wasn't surprised one bit by what happened on Tuesday. They haven't forgotten how the cretins booed Alan Ramsey when Ryan Shawcross broke his leg and they won't forget for a long time.

Here's a graphic description of what happened, one of the most shocking incidents in football. It's Dave Kitson's account of what training was like under Pulis the week before the game and why it was inevitable that someone was going to get hurt:

Apparently, to this day, the Arsenal fans refer to Stokies as Orcs from the Land of Mordor.

Dave Kitson's account is the biggest work of fiction since the last Harry Potter novel. Asking an Arsenal fand for a balance view on Stoke is like asking a turkey to vote for Xmas

A gesture from Sjoke would be to either pay up or ,if the Cheltenham is off,let us use their sihthole for the game and letting us have the Incinerator End.:shifty:

I don't know that this is a good idea. Is there long enough before the game for us all to get our vaccinations?
