I think there is a chance of this thread going the wrong way. She is a horrible MP and person to match from my experiences with her. Shes got far more important things she should be doing and isn't, as usual.

If so, you haven't helped. Don't forget this was the woman who was attacked just for being Jewish. I've never met her and couldn't say one way or the other how she comes across, but I think you should cut her some slack.

Please explain further.

Many people still vote Labour but look how the young population are acting. It comes down to issues such as Poverty, Lack of hope, Life chances etc. If her party were willing to look after out own local people in the first place we wouldn't get the issues we do with these matches.

I personally think she doesn't have our best interests at heart and she is using this issue for her own political gain. And there are many reasons that lead me to believe as such

For a start, she wants/wanted us to stay in the EU so we can save four certain firms who employ young people in the area...these jobs, however are hard labour and and no skill attached which leads me to say she is a hypocrite, because she is always banging on about bringing 'High skilled jobs' to the area. We are 80% service industry now in the UK and technology is the only way forward...she believes that jobs at Dudsons, Steelite and the like are fundamental to the area's future...what baloney. These jobs will go abraid eventually anyway...like the rest of manufacturing

She is against Jeremy Corbyn's socialist agenda and does not even sit in when he is in because she is part of the Blairite London based establishment regime who are for the Blair policies such as low skilled immigration etc...which is part and parcel of the problem...we have young people out of work or on low wages...ever likely they will fight at a football match

She has brought it to Parliaments attention in the wrong way. If she was being constructive, she would go after Stoke City and their Gambling addict parasite owners who do not contribute anything to the young people within the city=Get them to pay for the damage. But no-Smeeth does not want to lose votes from Stoke City supporters in the North constituency
