BBC Radio Joke at it again

Regarding Blakeman, he was covering the Villa v Stoke game today (that's quite a few Stoke games he's done recently while Sandoz has done the Vale game), and he showed his true (red-and-white) colours when talking about Stoke before the game - when Liam Lawrence talked about his time there, Blakeman was positively salivating and said "I could talk to Liam Lawrence about the promotion winning season all day! - i.e. really emphasised how it thrilled him"

Always thought he had a bugbear about Vale and in particular Vale fans - he's definitely a Stoke fan, and is not impartial in the slightest. (but then that's not a surprise on that joke radio station - Acres is Stoke-mad and both him and Liz Ellis constantly make reference to them on their midweek breakfast show).

You missed the fact that on at least two occasions he described the game (Villa vs Stoke) as being like or having the feel of a Premier League game.

I must have missed them getting promotion.

I swear at one point just "Aston Villa versus Stoke City: this IS a Premier League game". I mean it's not...

Interestingly a Vale fan got on to P&G following one of our last two home games (not sure which one) and Blakeman had been told he was a Stoke fan. And then on Saturday suddenly Ben a Vale fan was not there on the phone so they went to another Stoke fan. The whole programme is so biased on an afternoon when both local teams have played. Has Norman banned Blakeman from Vale Park as him and Sandoz seem to have swapped places.

Blakeman went on to say his definition of idiots are those that smash toilets up and throw seats at away supporters...

AWAY supporters ??? So is he suggesting that it was Vale fans ripping seats up and throwing them at Skokie’s?
