and Dennis Smith is the Number One pillock with his biased opinions when on the panel commentating on Stoke games Unfortunately I chose to listen to Stokes game last Saturday and I honestly thought Notts Forest were playing Barcelona listening to the clown. Every time I listen to him he makes me cringe.

Don't they claim "the only place you can get full coverage of every Stoke City, Port Vale and Crewe Alexandra first-team game" - surely they can't air that jingle again unless they get someone to re-voice it from "every" to "almost every"...

They never cover Stoke games live in this Competetion Melv.

To be fair, last Season there was several games in the competition where all 3 sides were playing and only Vale got the live Commentry.

Because of the nature of the comp since the U21s have been in it, Radio Stoke have tended to just have the one game on and that being the most important. Tonight Crewe were at home and needed a result. Vale were away and were already through.

Considering again Stoke have never been covered live in the Comp and last Season Vale were favoured, we can't really moan.

Stoke City haven't played in the competition since it allowed youth teams in. They didn't cover the Stoke City Academy teams matches but they don't for the youth team league games so why would they for the EFL Trophy?
