Where is Worrall??

Love Wozza and think he is a top player for us, for whatever reason he has struggled this season but at times last season he was crucial, his performance against Colchester at home and Chesterfield for example.

I sincerely hope he is ok and whatever he is going through clears up soon and he can get back to his best as on his day he is an asset to this Football Club.

Colchester away last season, as well. Aspo played him in central midfield and Wozza put in a great performance when we came back from one down to equalise and went close to winning it. Good player, with great technique.

Hope he's back soon and back to his usual self.

It did sound a really odd interview with Aspin, he said he was in a car accident and suffered whiplash as an afterthought, but focused on how he needs to work harder to win a place and find more consistency.

Bit hard to find consistency when you’ve been injured and had whiplash I would say.

I have to say the interview wasn’t quite as supportive as you’d hope towards a player getting back to fitness.

Probably because theres more to it than what hes willing to say in public.

He was out of form before the accident, so although that has put him out of action for a couple of weeks, he'll have to work hard to improve his performances to get back the form he showed last season.

What confuses me is that we had people on here saying Worrall was going through a very difficult time, he was in our prayers, there's more to life than football etc, but Aspin is just saying he's been out of form and has suffered minor whiplash from a minor car accident. Did people just assume the accident was worse than it was or are we missing something here?

Listen please get off Worrall,s back.

There is a genuine reason why he has not been playing that I would not wish on anyone but I am not willing to divulge it as it’s up to him to say if he wants to.

But it is really serious so please leave him alone and back him to come through it.

This is a bit dramatic for just whiplash isn't it!? The way you were going on I was expecting he had an ill kid or something.

It the same old story isn’t it ?

Unless the club issue a statement or at least acknowledge what has happened, people will always speculate.

Then we end up with a “send three & fourpence, we’re going to a dance” scenario. Or at least putting 2&2 together and getting 5.

:laugh: "Send three and fourpence we're going to a dance"...bloody hell RR theyt showing thee age there yewth! Still cracks me up though! Bet the young un's are scratching their heads!

When we signed David Worrall I thought he was a great capture. I have been relatively under whelmed by his performances ever since. I agree with our manager David needs to do more.

I thought it was just me who thought that!

Ran around a lot during the dusastrous start to last season, so looked better than the dross around him.

Tangible contribution / end product rare, and I would guess one of the higher earners so needs to contribute more.

For me one of those who is being thought more of / perception greater than the reality for not actually playing
