Due to the way the draw works we will play one of Stoke u21s, Bury, Macc Town or Man City u21s.

Joke of a competition these days, don’t give it more than a thought. EFL Trophy yet has U21 and U23 prem and championship teams in... surely the name needs to change?!?!

Little known Agho making his 1st team debut at 15, sounds like a prospect, with a number of clubs looking at him

Worst possible outcome Stoke Kids in this. Why anyone would go is beyond me. Having to play our hated rivals reserves in a competitive first team fixture is embarrassing and one I would hope we avoid in the draw. Only crumb of comfort is that if it did happen I believe the next round is the midweek after the FA Cup second round weekend so we may play a stronger team to avoid losing to their stiffs!

I think the fact that our main youth team played Sutton Coldfield in the FA Youth Cup yesterday also contributed to that. Agho hasn't played that much for the Under 18's this season so it made more sense to send him to Walsall than to Sutton Coldfield.
