No Gibbons and Hannant now at left back by the looks of it! This had better work Aspo!! I know Monty's out and I can only assume Legge is crocked too but surely Gibbo at RB and Clark at LB would have been less risky? The swap of Dodds for Whitfield makes sense and possibly even Manny for Hardcastle although that's a little harsh on the lad as he played well last week.

Fingers crossed for a high tempo approach and trying to play TO Whitfield and Pope as opposed to AT them.

Mike Baggeley has us down as this:

Brown

Clark Rawlinson Smith Hannant

Worrall Oyeleke Joyce Conlon

Whitfield

Pope

Hannant isn't a left back.

Conlon isn't a left winger.

Why does Aspin play someone out of position every game? Why can't he just pick a settled system and a settled side for a few games? This chopping and changing is madness.

I'm not anti-Aspin as Norman would only get another cheap option but he really isn't helping himself right now. Another defeat today and the knives will be getting sharpened.

Could Oyeleke be at right-back? I'm sure it said he can cover there when he signed. That would mean Clark at left-back and keeps Hannant in his usual LM role and pushes Conlon to CM.

It really shouldn't be this difficult to work out the formation! Gibbons not even on the bench is even stranger.

I know Aspin cant do much about injuries, but seems to change more than needed. At least FGR didn't expect this team either, biggest blow is Legge, can Smith show his former mettle? Maybe this formation has had a run out in the week, we will soon see.
