Can't you start a thread to campaign getting Smurf out.

He's the cancer of the club.

£2.4m received since January 2017 and we're serving up this garbage.

Wake up people!

We’ve signed good players.

Everyone on here wanted aspin. So how is this Smurf’s fault. Yes the big picture it’s him but this season we’ve signed decent players but have a clueless manager.

I don’t want him to go. I want him to stay and do well. As depressing as it is, if we finish where we are now, then that marks an improvement.

However, it’s quite worrying that his managerial record with us is pretty much exactly the same of Glovers.

After the past two seasons the majority would accept finishing where we are now if we were improving and learning from mistakes, the thing hard to stomach is the abysmal entertainment.

If we can't play decent football through the midfield and down the wings and still finish 15th in league two then Aspin should go because since the second half v Cambridge the fayre on offer has been terrible value for money.

So far Cambridge is the only game where we've been the better team over 90 minutes.

Yes, Smurthwaite is the bigger problem, but currently the problems are being caused by a manager sadly out of his depth. I would guess our playing budget is higher than Tranmere.

In their last published accounts their turnover was over £5 million - way in excess of ours. Their total wage bill was over £3 million, the bulk of which would be the playing budget. And that was in the National League.

Not about appearances clause but highlights Tonges 12m deal.

With the option of a further 12 months. Both Tonge and Pugh are on peanuts as well compared to the others. There is hardly evidence that they a key members of Aspin's squad this year - how many games have they played?

We've won two home games, lost three away games, two closely by the odd goal and fans are calling for the manager to be changed. Heavens above if you wish the club to spiral towards non league then keep calling.

This is still a rebuilding excersize after the hatchet job by Smurf and Ribeiro and it will be for another two transfer windows at least.
