The OVF app - does it work for you

Hi,

 

I've just been through what seems like a million email messages with Tapatalk. To be frank their customer service is dire.

 

However, I understand from a few of you that if you are experiencing problems with the OVF app you can reinstall it and it should now work. I did it and it worked for me.

 

I am currently assessing whether with that level of support, it is worth continuing with the app (as it involves a monthly payment).

 

So can I ask:

 

1. If you use the OVF app how useful do you find it? And is it working for you?

2. Does anyone use any alternative apps rather than Tapatalk?

I used to use the app daily but a couple of weeks ago crashed. I decided to remove it to re-install (tried everything else) but now I cannot find the App anywhere to re-install it!?

Hi Rob, I use it occasionally, but now erratic, not a big mobile user. Would not miss it as I always travel with a tablet.

It crashed on me a couple of weeks ago. Just tried it and I can report that it is working fine for me now. I find it very useful when I am abroad. I spend approx three months of the year in Florida and I keep updated on Vale affairs during the day when I am out and about.

I was using the app a fair bit until it went belly up. I deleted it but I'll reload it now, thanks.

It hasn't worked for a long time so I gave up on it yonks ago and deleted it, will give it another try later.

Worked fine until the recent blip. Deleted and reinstalled and its now fine again.

 

The mobile app is main source however will still be happy should it just go back to web

I will look into this. It could be due to me trying to make changes and it failing to upload the updated version. Bear with me, more updates to come when I know more...
