Match Thread Halifax v Port Vale

Recommended Posts

Bit of juggling for Aspin, 2 games in quick succession while fitness is building up. Would expect him to try and put on a decent show against his old team, hopefully a change from the 1-1s up to now. Although the important thing is to avoid strains and injuries, are we still without a physio?

No. It's a shame that. He needs games but hasn't been involved in any of the three of them to date. Let's hope it is nothing serious.

Looks like quite a strong team tonight. Fingers crossed for a few goals.

Mike Baggaley seems to think it’s 4-4-2 but I think we can adapt that team to play with wing backs tonight.

Half time : vale been more dominant but been a bit scrappy in the first half! Quigley looks quite good playing off pope! 1-1 score but vale should push on second half with this display and win

How was that first half then Yorky? Did the formation work well with the wingbacks and Monty in a back 3? Was the formation allowing us to be more attacking?
