Noticed we got 4 matches at home on a Saturday with Stoke playing at home the same day as well. Will we have to move these games? Could possibly play a few Friday night games instead?

I make it 3 Saturdays and a mid week.

Tuesday 2nd October MK Dons for us. Bolton for them. Don't know if they even play on a Tuesday. MK will bring nobody. No problem

Saturday 3rd November Notts County for us. Middlesborough for them. May be a problem as County should be one of the bigger followings next season. A game might be switched for telly though. Not cause of Pulis's return but for the two top clubs in League Two battling it out

Saturday 24th November. Swindon and QPR. No issue. No one outside of the West Country cares about Swindon

26th January. Carlisle and Preston. Could be a problem. Don't know what the rivalry is like between these two but coming down on the same train together could be interesting

Rare that TV championship games are on a Sunday, usually Saturday lunchtime or teatime. Stoke haven't got the Premier league right any more to insist they are at home in a clash, will be down to plod. The 26th January clash is FA Cup 4th round day, so if one of the four clubs involved make it that far the clash is off.

Think a reverse 5-0 result is due.Can see Vale top of the league come August 4th.

When was the last time we played the same club in consecutive league games (albeit across the close-season in this case) - didn't clubs used to play each other on Christmas Day then again on Boxing Day in "ye olden days"?

Not quite consecutive (there was a Saturday match against Charlton in between) but due to postponements and fixture congestion we played Luton both home and away on consecutive Tuesdays in April 96.

If you leave out play off games, we played Fulham away in the last game of the 'normal' season in 88/89, and the next team we played a third tier match against was Fulham at home in 92/93.
