Premier League 18/19

No surprise whatsoever.

The hard work for him starts now. It's so fiercely competitive to get into the top four let alone win it.

And there can only be one team that finishes on top of the pile.

Tough job but I wish him well. I like his style of football.

Nearly forgot. How good in Spurs' new ground looking?

It's a funny old game isn't it? But that fixture at times comes perilously close to crossing the boundaries.

That Morelos (is that his name?) must be a complete loony. I think he's played in 28 games this season and got 14 cards including 5 reds! Must be a record that Norman Hunter would struggle to reach.

Well that was lucky, but the kind of luck you need if you want to win the title from under the noses of an outstanding side. Klopp very nearly cost Liverpool today by picking the wrong midfield again. Fabinho should be one of the first names of the team sheet and to leave him out of such a game is criminal. City still have Spurs and United to play away from home, along with the more difficult Champions League tie you would think, so Liverpool won't have a better chance for a long time despite not playing anywhere near to there best currently.

City play Spurs at home.

And haven't Liverpool got to play their bogey team Chelsea at home?

Not over yet by a long way.

Yes they do but have a look at the fixtures that week. Liverpool play at home to Porto on the Tuesday night. Chelsea have West Ham at home on the Monday night then play in the Czech Republic on the Thursday night.

No saying Liverpool will beat Chelsea but it’s a big advantage.

I couldn't believe Klopp went 424 with Spurs in the ascendency, but he got away with it. We can say Liverpool were lucky but that overlooks the first 30 mins when Spurs were equally lucky.

They are two high level teams who can hurt each other because they're that good.

I think Man City will not win the CL. After Man Utd bite the dust so will Man City to Barcelona who have better players all over the pitch.

Liverpool have their noses in front now and on paper (not that games are ever played on paper) only have 1 tough looking fixture left compared to City's 2.

But there's bound to be a twist or two out of the blue. There always is.

Where is your money now?

Liverpool’s last away game is at Newcastle where they will lose 4-3 to a last minute goal and chuck the title away. Karma!!
