Is that with an option of a further year or two or just a straight one year deal?

 

I was wondering that. Would be a shame, if he does well, to lose him in January. Option for US to extend would make sense, just in case.

Well we hand out 2 year deals to 35 year olds and 1 year deals to 25 year olds so that sounds about right for Vale!

Another piece of Aspin's jigsaw. Good to see he is actioning his thoughts after a turgid season. Building his own Team and we need to back him and Vale now. I realise we all want to look forward each year but I am getting vibes of a very decent season in front of us. Welcome all you newbies, hope for a few more to continue our feel good factor.

Have seen our new man play against Tranmere when I watched a playoff game in 2017. Remember Aldershot gave a good account of themselves at Prenton Park. But don't remember more than that. My ventures to Prenton Park generally happen once or twice a year these days but looking forward to supporting Vale there again in 2018/19.

Can’t help but think that we will be playing a 4-2-3-1 style formation with 2 holding players (Oyeleke and Joyce). That would be a huge improvement on last season already.
