Id much rather have Dodds than Whitfield...

 

They are similar. Inconsistent but match winners.

 

I'd have either in my squad and wouldn't want to come up against either for an opposing side.

I doubt Whitfield will come back to league 2, but we certainly need that style of player in the squad, a game changer, albeit one hopefully a bit more consistent maybe. I’ve never seen him play but maybe Daniels is that kind of player?

 

I thought Legge was going to be a certainty in signing for us, we need an experienced centre half as soon as possible.

Don't think Leon Legge will be signing for us. The lad is Sussex born and bred and Cambridge is the furthest north of Watford he's been. Colchester or one of the National League southern clubs (where he would be likely to earn as much) would be more likely with no need for a family move.

 

I'm sure Aspo will get us someone up to scratch.

I trust aspo to sign players who will fit into his idea of a team plan, the team has looked unbalanced since Bruno so in aspo we trust.

That was the hold up in announcing it apparently, they like to make a flashy video now when we sign someone now...

Yeah there should be, but there never has been. Don't you wonder why? He was a league player for 1 in 5 or when his contract was up for renewal.

Do we really need a player who scored 10 goals in 45 appearances for Shrewsbury two seasons ago? What would that add to our midfield?

Anyway this obsessive Dodds talk is getting really boring. The bottom line is we won’t be signing him so can’t all this nonsense be moved to it’s own thread in “other football matters”?

Obviously little happening over the weekend, hopefully a video in preparation soon of a player that has not been mentioned, or involved in removals.

Based on his return in League One if played 46 games he would get around 10 goals so not bad...
