Just the standard stuff for about a week now.

 

1. We've apparently signed Billy Waters from Northampton.

2. We're signing either Ricky Miller or Junior Morais, or both.

 

Tbf to unofficial Vale they've been pretty decent this summer. However, there wasn't a sniff of Oyeleke coming so maybe one or two surprises next week.

We certainly still need some quality in the final third but I'm not counting my chickens until players have signed for us.

Claiming X and Y are coming here is pie in the sky until the ink is dry.

Fingers crossed something happens this coming week, though I'd expect a lot of players to be on holiday.

From what’s being said Waters signed a week ago but I heard has been on holiday. I saw he was following some of our staff as Leon Legge was during the fairly long period from rumours of his signing to the actual confirmation.

 

I’d like to get him confirmed soon as think he could be a big asset to us and almost complete the midfield side before moving onto out and out strikers!

Tbf to unofficial he has got a few things right because he picks up snippets of rumours and trawls FB putting 2 and 2 together etc.....remember the Aston Villa loan player one? that was someone who made it up and put it on FB to trap him into it and within minutes he put a big thing on there about it,its all guess work like with most of us

Someone mentioned earlier in this thread won't be signing for us and that's Billy Knott who's gone to Concord Rangers!

For some reason his career's gone down the pan, he was released by Bradford then went to Gillingham where he hardly played then on to Lincoln when they were non league. He hasn't featured much for them and they've let him go. If he's gone to a side in the National South there must be something wrong. Injury he can't shake off? Drink problem? Just lost what he had in terms of ability? General fitness? Don't know but it appears he isn't still the player we saw in a Vale shirt.

Yes he's had problems with depression, sad as he's at least league standard based on the player we had
