Personally I’d like to see a left back, centre back with experience, Cm with experience and a decent forward. I just think signing players who have been at this level a few years from some of the promoted sides who are released would be a good strategy to stabilise for next year and progress.

Pope, Worrall, Smith, Hannant, Monterey, Gibbons are good enough for this level and need some more help.

Rest I wouldn’t worry about losing

We definitely need some more firepower to supplement the Pope and here is as good a list as any:

Some would be hard to get but Macauley Bonne at Orient and Bruno Andrade at Boreham Wood (both quick forwards who would fit in well with Pope) are at clubs who probably couldn't afford to hold out to a reasonable offer, whereas there's little chance of attracting Cook or Norwood from Tranmere (who still get better gates than we do last time I looked).

C'mon, Norman - time to get the cheque book out.

Now that we are safe, who's on your shopping list? Apart from Messi & Ronaldo.

I would like Chris Neal and Ricky Miller, to start with.

Ricky Miller a few years back but he seems have baggage now as well as not doing anything so i reckon it will be a non league striker he brings in,maybe Johnson or Jordan Burrow from Gateshead mainly because he knows them or if smurf is serious(but it would cost a good wage)in backing Aspin Andy Cook is out of contract at Tranmere

Centre half, preferably experienced to add some leadership at the back

Natural left back as cover for Monty (or Knopps if fit, assuming we give him six months to prove fitness)

Creative midfielder with energy.

Two wingers

Experienced solid keeper

10-15 goal striker to partner Pope

For me, any of the top 5 scorers in the National will do! If we can't compete financially with Boreham Wood, then...

Shopping list:

One goalie with decent experience to compete with Hornby. I've only heard good things about young Mawgan Bright from the youth team so if he's promoted then that's our three keepers (assuming we ship out Lainton and boot)

A left back. Montano is good but needs help there/competition

2 Centre backs as a minimum. I don't know what aspos plans are for Howe atm but assuming he's gone, that leaves us with Smith and Davis with kay as cover... I'd take raglan and howkins if avaliable but I doubt it with the latter.

One right back. Gibbos great but young and prone to indifference that comes with learning.

Assuming that one of tounge/pugh goes then I'd say we 100% need a couple of centre mids. Kay and pugh to do the defencive job, two new attacking mids to get us forward?

At least one striker. Someone to actually work with pope rather than waiting for him to save us every game.

I don’t mind Tonge, Pugh or Kay... in fact Kay is one of the first on the sheet now... it’s just playing all three which is the problem! Pugh is handy as can play a couple of positions so if one of the three does go I guess Tongey is most likely, although he does score a handful of goals.
