I'll be accused of mocking our "peril" or whatever the phrase was the other day.

 

In reality I can't even read a thread about what colour shirt we should have without someone trying to turn it into a wrist slitting contest.

Don't think I'll ever see us in my preferred strip ever again; plain white shirt with black collar & cuffs, plain black shorts and white socks. Too simple and minimalist for the marketeers and designers of today.

Yes the kit we wore at Crewe looked better with the black shorts.

 

Its all the unnecessary guff they put on shirts these days that does my head in. This seasons is ok, but theres too much going on. Last season even with the horizontal chest and shoulder panels looked much simpler.

I think the shirt is only as good as the sponsor's logo, which is why this season's and that one with the window manufacturer which looked like a BNP logo were poor and the GMB and Sennheiser ones were great. Even Tunstall Assurance (whatever they did)looked ok.

I'd love to see us sponsored by a Far Eastern company. Doesn't really matter what they do. I just think a white shirt with just three of those big letter/logogram things in black across the front would look great. Also, there are about four teams in Brazil who are sponsored by a big bank called Caixa and I love that logo.
