Am I correct in thinking that IF Chesterfield lose tonight then, with our goal difference, one more point would effectively make us safe, barring a bizarre run of results for both us and Chesterfield?

Only my second visit to Mansfield. My other visit was 25 years ago during the bitter sweet 92-93 season. Can still remember Paul Kerr's winner clear as day for some reason. Boy do I wish us to be as good as that team again.

You’ll have to stop off in Nottingham which ain’t a bad thing as there are a lot of quality pubs to visit.

 

I'm a traditionalist myself, so will be heading for Mansfield town centre and its 2 wetherspoons.I dont get this stopping at other towns hostelries first,unless I'm forced to.

Was that the game Ray Walker was sent off, we won 1-0. Can still remember Mark Chamberlain`s cheeky goal there, the Mansfield bench erupted!

I’ve just looked up the ten best things to do in Mansfield, apparently it’s in Ohio, there’s one in Texas as well. After extensive research, I now believe there’s one in the U.K. as well where the top things to do are all in Matlock.

Agreed. Would rather drink in the place where the game is... all part of the away day experience. Plus can soak up the atmosphere, although there may not be much of one pre game on Saturday.
