Its that time of year again, the course is looking stunning. So many good players this year its tough to choose a winner. McIlroy has been heavily backed as has Tiger but I fancy Stenson or Mickelson. I think we are in for the best tournament there has been for a long time at Augusta this year.

... and then Garcia keeps repeating the same mistake and ends up with a 13 !!

I find it difficult to believe even a club high handicapper would be that stupid. Repeatedly putting spin on the ball to get it to come back towards the hole was ridiculous... just get it over the pond and worry about the next shot later!! Or do these top golfers think they are too good to play the 'simple' shot?

One of the best weekends of the year.

 

Hard to see past Spieth, his short game is so good and he's found something in his putting and regular service has resumed. His 5 on 18 on Thursday was incredible but as that hole showed his driving is always a potential banana skin. Hope Justin Rose does well and my dark horse is Patrick Reed, Rickie Fowler has to win a major one day.

 

Brilliant to see Tiger back.
