To be fair to them they shepherded people back into the stands.

If it had been at the Vale they would have been assaulted by the stewards and marched in a headlock to the prison cells in the corner of the Railway and Hamil.

 

ha ha, can you remember that streaker, the 4 carried him the length of the paddock face down, with bits hanging down...and they were bits.

I did a "Railway Paddock" and moved along the stand depending on which way Vale were shooting. First half I was in the overcrowded section where all the nutters were, but after half time went down to the Railway End side where there were quite a few empty seats. The stewarding definitely left a lot to be desired.

I heard Hornby had been struck by a Crewe fan, didn't see it myself but if true it should be looked at.

The Ice Cream Cornetto Stand looked over subscribed to me.Aren't these stewards supposed to keep the gangways clear?

And should you look at the link, Smurthwaite may be an idiot of the highest order amongst other things but he hasn't overseen one of the most tragic things ever seen in football. On the video too it shows the steward pick up a coin and throw it back on the pitch towards Hannant.very bizarre from the steward i must admit..
