I can't believe how easily he has taken to league football. For someone who was playing University level only two years ago to walk into our team and be consistently one of the best players on the pitch is staggering. Gives me great confidence in aspo and rudge building a strong team in the summer.

I think that if Luke is given a more central left sided midfield role next season then he will have an even bigger impact.

With regard to Howkins it would be great if we could keep him but I wouldn't think that WBA will allow him to leave without a sizeable fee. The guy is quality. Only ambitious clubs will find the cash so I feel that might rule us out of keeping him.

Still finding his feet forme, I expect more next season. Currently the comparison is with Worrall on the other side and he has some catching up to do. He’ll get there, I’m sure.

He will improve, although at present he's still one of our best players, week in, week out.

 

His enthusiasm and willingness to run forever in a Vale shirt is refreshing this season. i look forward to seeing him become a rounded, versatile, regular player for us in the seasons to come.

Yes, Hannant has done very well. Probably an intelligent lad, so learns quickly. I see him in centre midfield when we have a balanced squad. Looking forward to seeing him develop.

Totally agree, His attitude is bang on he seems as he is loving it, takes the knocks and can also give it & is no push over...certainly a player in the aspin / rudge mould as he reminds me somewhat of Andy porter and is certainly in the first 11.

 

Keep up the good work - oh and regis you should take notice 2 careers going in opp directions
