The sale could be completed in May.NS could then walk away with some self respect and dignity intact and enjoy his retirement. We could get our season tickets and look forward to the new season getting behind Aspin and the team. Hopefully as a L2 club.
Assuming we already have a buyer ready to pay a realistic price and the money to subsidise the club until the business can be sorted. Perhaps if lots bought 2019/20 STs a season in advance that would help the buyer.

So he’s got plans to build a bar and other commercial buildings on the site of Vale Park? Why didn’t he mention this last week at the meeting? I suppose that these are good offfield income streams for the club but only as long as part of it goes back into the playing budget.

The guy needs to make his bloody mind up. If he’s not going anywhere then he needs to back Aspin big time next year regardless of which league we are in.

There is no evidence from any accounts that off-field revenue goes back into the playing side.

How will he finance the project? Even more debt into the club? We don’t need more debt we need investment in the team.

Even better we need Smurthwaite gone from the club.

Interesting that he won't discuss the asking price for the club but last week he compared it to someone selling their house saying it was their business ?! Well my house is for sale right now and anyone interested can look on Right Move and there it is for the world to see.

Grow up Norman and stop the patronising crap. You may own the club but it belongs to us supporters you are just passing through and from my point of view the quicker you pass off the better.

And that's why I don't spend a penny more on anything else other than a match day ticket. I stopped spending on anything else after the argument I got into on the cash only for 1st payment of ST renual. I just wished more fans would do the same and play him at his own game. Don't buy programme or any merchandise from shop no more and certainly any pre match or halftime refreshments. This way no protest or campaign to get him out just hurt him where it will hurt him most. This way I get a certain satisfaction that at least I'm still supporting the team if not the club, or should I say Smurf if that makes sense.

Blackpool have been running a success Not A Penny More campaign against the club run by Smurthwaite’s mentor Oyston.

I think something similar could be very effective at Vale Park

Looks like it worked,Malcolm. They got promotion last season and are still being run by the Oystons.
