The Telegraph is a mouthpiece for deregulation, hedge fund gold diggers, and has become as extreme as the Express and the Mail, Not surprising as it's owned by the multi millionaire Barclay brothers who avoid paying tax in the UK, are in Johnson's fan club, and live in the Channel Islands and Monaco respectively. They have already coined it in by the fall in sterling. It's not an unbiased source.

I think everyone who reads this thread is very worried and anxious about this stupid act of self harm that we are pursuing. ]

There is no solution to the Irish border, so no chlorinated chicken from Mr Trump who wants to buy Greenland (lol) and No deal with the EU who have bent over backwards to accommodate the clown that is Boris Johnson. You cannot square the circle and maintain peace in NI.

There is a solution to the Irish border. The uk and Ireland do not want a hard border. As "sovereign" nations that should be the end of the matter yes?

The fact is that the eu are using it to create leverage. They're caught on camera admitting it.

Corrupt, power hungry, self serving, undemocratic, expensive, useless idiots.

If we had left a year a go, AS WE VOTED, then we would be over the disruption and have an open road in front of us.

How can sovereign nations exist side by side  without a border ?

Plenty of countries don't have a border?

Also that question makes it sound like you think we are not sovereign currently? That's going against the remainer 101 handbook you know? Blindly claiming that we are sovereign already is what you should be doing. Just follow sage if you are not sure.

Just disdain at your pro-Brexit arguments.

Do you have a disdain for other pro democracy arguments or is it brexit where your democratic principles end?

Johnson and Farage employed the type of democracy seen in 3rd world countries, ie  lies, democracy based on the type of  lies employed in the 2016 referendum isn't democracy.

Elections are not decided on truth..... they are decided on promises never fulfilled.

1. Remainers lied more.

2. That isn't third world democracy. The third world doesn't really have democracy. I guess you could be talking about a sham democracy whereby the wish of the voters would be ignored if the people in power didn't agree with them? If so, then yes we are living in a 3rd world democracy. At best.

It seems the only people insisting on a hard boarder is the EU.

If they are so keen on hard boarders how do all the migrants get through?...... or are they just concerned about trade boarders?

Good question.

Will the Remainers have an answer?

It was an EU plan from the start to create false leverage.

Ireland doesn't wan't a hard border. The UK doesn't want a hard border. There should be no problem.

And just think, remainers, you can either agree that there's no Irish border problem problem or admit that nation states are not sovereign. It can be both of the above, it can't be one or the other.

It's also a really scummy trick from the EU, not that we haven't been accusing them of stuff like this for years. All the talk of the Good Friday Agreement being risked on their side and they're the ones who have manufactured the whole thing.

We have to leave these tyrants as soon as possible.

All nations have boarders, not all are controlled.

Will Scotland have a boarder if it gets independance?

Scotland and Wales signed acts of union centuries ago so don't need controlled borders, Britain is an island so has a natural border. Scotland in the EU would need a WTO border with England.

Britain has a hard border but it does not stop smuggling of goods and people through its ports, only a complete  search of every person and vehicle entering  will do that, also adequate and expensive coastal patrols, surveillance of all aircraft landings, etc.
