The only certainty is uncertainty in politics at present, maybe Brexit will stick around to ensure it is to their liking over the years it will take to implement.

The only certaintity is a 'No Deal' Brexit' if their is no compromise from the EU and the government. The existing withdrawal agreement has been rejected in parliament three times,so that's a dead duck. The EU say they won't budge,so if nobody is prepared to change their stance there is no alternative but to leave without a deal, where else is there to go?

Parliament has caused this not the voters.

The deal can be rejected by the revoke procedure as ringmaster Mogg has now  laid down the challenge

And in the meantime, in the latest news, we are told that a No deal threatens the science industry but we can always bury our heads in the sand and pretend otherwise if we don't like what we are told.

In a letter, seen by the BBC, chairwoman of the Wellcome Trust Lady Eliza Manningham-Buller, asks the new PM to up investment spending in science to German levels, and to ensure that immigration policy was "more welcoming" to top scientists.

Sounds like we need a sensible immigration policy?

I didn't like it when I was told unemployment would rise sharply if we voted to leave.... I didn't like it much when we were told there would have to be an emergency budget because we voted to leave..... good job I didn't bury my head in the sand.

The argument is a double edged sword..... both sides have made claims so both sides bury their heads?

If we want to yeah.

It would literally be our choice. Alternatively we could elect a government who will prioritise our own production and jobs.

Brexit is a beautiful thing.

Not been a government like that since the 70s, after that production went overseas, I cannot see it changing

There hasn't been a Government who wanted to leave the EU until now to be fair. We the people should decide how we want to be governed. Not the EU, not the nationals of 27 other countries. They can choose how they want to be governed, and we can choose our way, and hopefully we can all work together in a mutually beneficial relationship that does not infringe on our self government.

That's all I want.

Production as we know it mate has long gone..... never to return because it's to expensive, we can't compete..... if you owned a business and you received 2 bids to manufacture your product 1 £10 and 1 £1 and both samples were identical in quality..... which would you choose?

Bearing in mind some countries offer some huge incentives...... it's not a really difficult choice

To be honest I don't care if we stay or leave...... I just want someone..... anyone..... to get on with it.... whatever IT may be

There are alternatives.

An election is one. A second referendum is another.

Wholesale rejection and revoking is probably not the best way forward but it is another card.

But it will run and run for quite some time yet.

I don't think a 2nd referendum is a good idea and won't solve anything, the losers will just demand another.

Lib.Dem leader Jo Swinson has vowed to reverse Brexit even if Leave win a 2nd referendum,so it would be a waste of time.
