So..... no need for elections or referendum...... just make a few phone calls, whip up a poll or two....... saves the country a fortune.

That seems to be the EU way of doing things as well. Why anybody would want to Remain in such an anti-democratic constitution is baffling.

Even Junker is questioning the backroom deal to replace him saying "it is not very transparent" and had damaged the democratic principles of Europe.

Some people are questioning why some people in a ballot for a PM get two voting papers, people in glass houses come to mind.

We now have a raving Brexit  idiot saying we have been shackled like slaves

What's so wrong about that,it's still going on in the UK with eight people being charged this week with running a slavery ring in the Midlands.

Not like the bus then..... which seems to be correct

But it's not is it? Neither are Turkey joining the EU. It's claptrap that was spouted by arch Leavers like Johnson and Gove to try to justify their position. And we still don't know the real reason for their campaign, what they hoped to achieve by leaving. Was it by any chance a bonfire of EU social legislation?

I suppose time will tell.

Tax evasion, Tax havens are likely EU targets the 1% wish to avoid.

Give it up.Boris Johnson was largely stating the gross-figure and not the net figure. This comes as Remainers have now been totally red-faced and dismantled on the matter.

The same applies to the Turkey allegation but I don't suppose anyone will follow this one up after the latest embarrassment.

Aren't the figures 350M gross 250M net?...... if so the figures are correct as the judge intimated

We now pay over £350 million pounds a week (gross, for the nick pickers), we get around £100 million pounds a week back in rebates but these rebates will discontinue as was agreed by the EU before the referendum. Boris could have easily have claimed we will be paying the EU well over £400 million pounds a week (net) within 7 or 8 years. Someone could take him to court but again would get thrown out.

Mr Ball has made a tidy profit from his escapade, don’t think those who contributed for this farce will ever see their money back.

Paul, I've won that one. In the only poll that matters, more Britons voted for leave than have ever voted for anything else in the history of this country.

It is the biggest and greatest political mandate ever given to the UK Government.

This dodgy polls that are almost always wrong don't matter one little bit.

Regal, in the nicest possible way....not quite....you've been miss-led....again.

https://fullfact.org/europe/eu-referendum-not-largest-democratic-exercise/

You've consistently said the majority of people still wish to leave the EU but the polls, admittedly they can get it wrong, indicate otherwise as not one poll but 11/12 of the most recent polls in 2019 indicate more people wish to remain than leave and by a larger margin than the 2016 referendum.
