Brexit again...

Ann Widdecombe is a Brexit party MEP. That is a truth. Today she said that science can come up with a cure for homosexuality. That is a truth. Nigel Farage has said on camera the NHS should move to an insurance based system. Truth.

Oh dear oh dear........

How many Mps said they would honour the referendum result?...... that's a truth too.

Widdecombe may have said it...... she may even believe it..... both may be truth.

Farage may believe the NHS should move to insurance based system......

Jezza said he doesn't want to be in the EU..... that's a truth

We were supposed to be leaving on March 29th...... that's a truth.

Someone said it would be easy to get a deal.... that's a truth.

This list could be endless........

Chamberlain said peace in our time just before the outbreak of war.... that's a truth.

Someone said Jesus was born 25th December..... that's a truth.

The fact they said it is a truth....... it doesn't mean what they said is true..... especially where politicians are concerned.

I didn't assume gays don't vote brexit. I was talking about the Brexit party. Ann Widdecombe Brexit party MEP today said science can come up with an answer to curing homosexuality. And we have a corporate tax rate lower than Afghanistan. Im not suggesting to bump it up. But anyway, if we leave without a deal there will be many rich elitists like Mogg who won't be paying their taxes.

You therefore seem to assume gays don't vote for the brexit party...... for any reason.

We have a corporate tax rate lower than a failing country..... is shocking..... and that no deal will force rich people to leave the country..... I thought it was the rich elitists who wanted a no deal.

Wouldn't a better option be to tighten the tax rules and target tax evasion and avoidance? Instead of taking the easy option of hiking tax rates.

That's not answered my question. My question was how would a Corbyn led government be worse than ignoring climate change, selling the NHS, scrapping workers rights, giving tax breaks for the mega rich and funding scientists to come up with a cure for homosexuality?

From a different perspective.......

Every government will ignore climate change to an extent because they couldn't afford not to..... imagine the cost of everything being renewable sourced electricity.....

Then add another six zeros to the figure and still not being close.... do we go nuclear?

Imagine what you could do with the money spent on the NHS per year if it was sold..... it won't be.... but billions into the pot.

Which workers rights do you want to protect?

If I remember correctly when corporation tax was cut tax take went up.

Why exactly do we fund scientists to do some of the apparently ludicrous things they do...... do fish talk in regional accents?....... do goldfish have a short memory?..... who do the bones buried in a car park belong to? Etcetera etcetera etcetera.... but then some things are discovered by accident whilst looking at something completely different..... where would the world be without little blue pills..... they say viagra was an accident...... but I was refering to warfarin.... as I said... a different perspective.

I'm not necessarily advocating any of the above, just offering a different view.

I think widdecome is a dinosaur trapped in her own world.

Who knows what "science" may come up with in the future...... it's what makes science fiction interesting.

It may come up with a pill to cure all sexuality ..... it may take a while, they looked for a cure for the common cold for decades, they only came up with relief for the symptoms........ have a drink and go to bed....... which surprisingly is what people of any sexuality do..... and it seems to work..... people tend to wake up with their chosen partner less sexually charged than previously...... although no health warnings are given about the effects of the hangover.

I don't care if people are lgbts because it makes no difference to anything.

My wife eats chillies like I eat limes....... so f ing what you may ask.

I like standing in the rain, when the temp is 35c who wouldn't, right, my wife takes an umbrella everywhere...... so f ing what you may ask.

A very good friends husband is gay..... so f ing what I would ask.

If your mind is so small that you think it makes a difference you should be shouting at yourself, protesting against yourself and abusing yourself...... perhaps you are doing the latter anyway..... so do it more often and with vigour

You should never enter negotiations if your not prepared to walk away.... especially if you tell the other side.

You can roll the dice. till they call your bluff.

But you can never win. till your not afraid to loose...

Why would anyone 'roll the dice' and gamble when so many people's futures are at stake? It's not a ******* game where you can huff, puff, stamp your feet and demand things turn out the way you want them. Just because the likes of JRM and Johnson, people who are insulated from the fall out of all this 'get us out' posturing, can treat the whole thing as some project to further their own aims, it doesn't stop it from having absolutely desperate repercussions for the rest of us.

Jeremy Corbyn is a friend of terrorist groups. Is Terrorism a labour party policy?

It wasn't abuse it was a statement of fact.

The USA ambassador today confirmed that the US wants the NHS included in trade deals. Do keep up

Abuse, get called out for it, double down on the abuse  at least you lot are consistent.

The NHS will be the next big debate after Brexit/Immigration.

It's really not morally outrageous to argue that it should be insurance based.

I have to stress that I am a fan of the NHS however, before you accuse me of being a racist or something.

No one will be debating the NHS in the manner you suggest apart from those in the right-wing bubble you seem to be encased in.

You are literally trying to debate me about debating the NHS right now

If no one is going to debate it though, why is everyone so scared of losing it? Surely it will never happen?

The NHS is an Insurance based system. That’s why those of us who work pay 12% of our wages in National Insurance.

The only debate I have is how you can be so thick with only one head
