Brexit again...

Even though remain parties increased their % of the vote and the leave % decreased? Wales, for example, voted 52.5% to leave yet on Sunday the vote for the explicit leave & remain parties were roughly 45:55? That's a significant swing, even without factoring the likely leave & remain voters who stayed loyal to the big 2. Don't get me wrong, Farage's party 'won' but the underlying trend is of people changing to remain, so I hardly think you can say that "the electorate dismissed the Donkey billboards".

How does it? I don't like Blair at all but don't recall him ever deceiving the house about his income and engaging in jolly hockey sticks racism. I know you're in to tarring all politicians with the same brush but they're not all scumbags (or not all scumbags for identical reasons).

I thought i had trimmed that bit....... oops....... but you never know.

The lawsuit against Boris Johnson was debated on this thread about 3-4 months ago. Many people, particularly the elderly, voted leave on the back of the 350m for the NHS lie. What price democracy built on a foundation of lies, no wonder there is so much strife around the whole issue of Brexit.

If found guilty it poses the question how many more MPs would be charged for not being honest in pledges, promises, manifestos, electioneering etc?

Exactly, he is found guilty and we can take down many prominent remain figures or he is not guilty and we can move on from trying to avoid the result of the referendum for mase up reasons

I don't think brexit is the problem anymore...... it's gotten a lot bigger than leave or stay... it's created a split in the country that can't be bridged, not only between leave or remain but between the people and the politicians, of all colours.... I don't think there is an answer anymore, that time has gone... I also think the faffing about has caused and cost as much, if not more, than brexit would have cost 3 years ago.

Making **** up and putting it on you tube doesn’t make it true

No more links from you then?

I don't suppose you can believe a word that comes out of the mouth of somebody who worked at the BBC for 25 years, was a co-founder of the Oxford Foodbank, which collects 5 tons of food from supermarkets a week and distributes it to charities, and was also awarded the MBE for this work in 2014.

The problem is that the implications of Brexit were not discussed properly after the result, May went in a huddle refusing to discuss what she was going to do. A no deal is better than a bad deal became policy.
