I mentioned this previously but was ignored.

Farage was asked last night to name a country that trades only on WT0 rules and isn't in a block with other trading nations for support and clout but he could not mention one. He hadn't got a clue. And he knows it isn't workable.

The escalating trade war between America and China is another compelling reason for our membership.

Instead of denying his popularity I think if people who criticized him actually paused to think about why he is so popular and why many people believe that he represents their views, then I think we could actually get to a place where we can agree that brexit has to happen asap.

 

Same with Tommy Robinson. You don't have to like someone or agree with 100% of what they say to recognise that these outspoken figures are striking a chord with people.

 

And if your conclusion is that the other half of the UK population is racist or bigoted then you need to dig a little deeper.

Classic example of remainers moving the goal posts to try and claim a victory.

 

He explained perfectly well that WTO is the starting point and we can agree trade deals with any country who wants to negotiate one with us.

 

So naming a country with no trade deals is completely irrelevant and why would any country even have no trade deals?

We all agree that trade blocs can be good as long as they are mutually beneficial.

 

The problem with that is that the EU isn't a trade union, it's a political union and also they do better out of us than we do out of them.

The point is, it doesn't matter if there is another country on WTO WITH NO TRADE DEALS. Because we will have trade deals.

Most countries operate under WTO rules but none solely operate under WTO rules as would be the case for us should we leave the EU as we have some trade deals already set up.
