If voters who live in Poland elected Ruth Smeeth as Labour MP for Stoke North, would that be fair?

Same analogy

Be interested to know how Ruth Smeeth voted last night.

Bet she didn’t vote as indicated by her constituents wanted who voted 70% to leave.

Sentinel do some real journalism and find out instead of sitting on the fence.

She voted to stay in the single market/leave only with a deal

If she could get away with it she would stay in the EU. She would import another 4000 refugees into Burslem today.

She isnt bothered though she knows she has the votes of the ever-increasing number of long term immigrants to the area and the non stop importing of londoners to the area.

Local people she has no regard for

Ex-Labour MP. She was thrown out of the Labour Party.

But don't let that detract from your own prejudice.

So I take it you are happy to see someone who is the first female MP to be jailed still receive a salary of £77,000 out of the public purse?

Anybody else who had been found guilty and received a jail sentence would have been sacked.

Well Nissan are making their next 4x4 in Japan rather than Sunderland. Who needs jobs?

The Guardian reports that the global automotive industry is already struggling with multiple challenges.Car sales in China fell in 2018 for the*first time since the 1990s, while demand for diesel vehicles in Europe has been rocked by the regulatory backlash to*Volkswagen’s emissions-cheating scandal.

Not all down to Brexit.

Nissan more to do with the recently signed EU - Japan trade agreement which will reduce tariffs down from 10% to 0 over the next 8 years.

I agree it's not all down to Brexit. But a lot of it is, and there will be a lot more bad news to follow. Unless we can get a negotiated settlement with the EU.

Ruth Smeeth is a very good constituency MP. She did not want to leave the EU, but neither did 48%of the population. Your comments in your thread are totally out of order.
