Brexit again...

Corbyn is trying anything he can to bring down the government with his pathetic anything is on the table.

What is his plan?

He hasn’t got one.

It’s about time our lily livered local MP,s stood up for their constituents who voted to leave.

Instead they are terrified of being deselected and being replaced by one of his Momentum chums. They are being herded like cattle to promote his political ambitions.

To be honest I just hope we have a general election so we can get rid of these stuck up MP,s who think they know better than their constituents

Is Corbyns plan of staying in the common market a real Brexit.

We will still be tied to the EU taking their rules and prevented from making our own deals with other countries.

Corbyn is a snake and has no clear policies which he changes depending on who he is addressing to tell them what they want to hear.

It’s about time Teresa May went back to the EU to tell them we are leaving on 29 March and we aren’t paying them another penny into the EU after that date saving the 39 billion.

I am amazed that The Sentinel is not putting any pressure at all on our MP,s to say what they are doing to carry out the wishes of their constituents to leave the EU.

It's odd that you and your ilk home in on her. The current PM and previous Home Sec created a policy where people were rounded up and deported back to countries they had never been to, some dying as a result. She described this as a ******* 'mistake'. But, yeah, you keep sneering at the trail blazing black woman because she forgot a number whilst suffering from undiagnosed diabetes. Anything you level at her could equally be levelled at many many other politicians but it's always her name that's been brought up. This one woman received almost half of all abusive tweets sent in the run up to the last election. What is it about her that gets you so riled? I really can't imagine.

I suppose the same can be said of why the Hard Left (and I'm not including you in this) always seem to target women who disagree (or appear to disagree) with the route the current Labour Party are going down. See Luciana Berger, Laura Kuenssberg, Rachel Riley, Fiona Bruce to name 4 in the fairly recent past. It would be preposterous to suggest all socialists/communists/Marxists are rabid misogynists though, wouldn't it?

I assume it is educational, the first month of NS in the 50s certainly was. Army life/discipline was a shock to the system, for most people it was also their time first time away from home, few people went to uni unlike today. However the French youngsters will know that although it maybe 24/7 there are not another 23 months. I would support it in the UK in principle but the costs would have to be justified. Cant quite see what it has to do with the EU though.

A treaty between France and Germany was signed today in the German city of Aachen. In a speech,Angela Merkel insisted hat the treaty 'contributes to the creation of a

European army'.

Merkel also said that their two countries should work on a 'joint military industry'?

Still not convinced?

The EU agreed a common currency. We didn’t join. The EU agreed an open borders policy via the Schengen Agreement. We didn’t join. Why should we join European Army, especially as we are already effectively part of an international army via membership of the UN?

Well his actual prediction said that we'd be better off still than we are now, but £4,300 worse off than if we remain, but thats not how he presented it. Furthermore, the way he reached that figure is so disingenuous. He basically completely fabricated it out of nowhere. It was a lie designed to scare the public into voting for his side. The only difference is that he didn't print it on the side of a bus, which is important because everyone knows that's how make a legally binding statement.

He said we would need one, not that he would introduce one. We didn't need one, we haven't had one. That makes him either wrong, or a liar, but we all know why he said it, to scare people into voting for remain.

Tell that to the Scottish electorate. The SNP lost 21 seats and 500k votes in 2017. It was a lie designed to scare people into voting for remain.

That's up to the EU. ROI, NI and the UK don't want a hard border. Maybe Ireland should leave the EU as well rather than Brussels telling them what they can and can't do? It's almost as if they are not sovereign over their own border?

Well considering his record as President and the booming economy he is creating, I'm pretty sure he will want to trade with us as quickly as possible. The trouble is that he is a negotiator and he will chew May up.

The stats are based on "hate" crimes which are completely made up. I could rob a bank and Mr H could report it as a hate crime because Diane Abbot has an account at that bank. It's completely meaningless as a stat and therefore anyone who truly claims that actual physical attacks on non UK citizens increased because of brexit is a liar.

So we both seem to agree that there was incompetence and dishonesty on both sides during the referendum campaign. This does rather beg the question as to why the country is about to embark on the biggest and most dramatic change it has seen in decades on the basis of a decision made as a result of such a campaign?

We won't have to,especially after March 29th but it tells you a lot about what's going on in the EU with the two main players.Perhaps Macron is getting a bit worried about the yellow vests?

Indeed Regal. As I read it. in 20 years time China and India will be more economically powerful than the US of A, with the EU membership fighting amongst themselves to trade alone with the 2 superpowers.

Rate of growth in China's economy is at it's lowest level since 1990.Economists have attributed this to the lingering trade tensions with the USA.

Brilliant news, not likely to be fighting each other as in the past then, difficult for us as we have fought on both sides for and against. Perfectly OK for sovereign states to join forces, nothing in the EU rules against it.

My "side" as you call it wasn't dishonest in the way that Leave was. The red bus is the prime example. The invasion of 75 million Turks. These were stated as facts and they are just two examples. Remain was more incompetent than dishonest. It failed to sell the benefits of the EU. Perhaps if they had made up a few bogus numbers they might have been more successful.

I may be biased but I'm not blind.

I must admit that figure on the big red bus was a bit dishonest.

It should have said £395 million a week instead of £365 million?

Momentum, sorry Labour have now accused Fiona Bruce and the BBC of racism and sexism against Diane Abbott.

Meanwhile Fiona Bruce has accused the Momentum group of bullying.

That's democracy, it's not perfect but it's the best system of government by far.

We could probably reverse every single election and referendum result in history if we were going to suddenly start punishing people for lies.

If there were so many leave lies then they simply had to demonstrate that they were lies and the referendum was a walk over. There are reasons that they didn't/couldn't do that.
