Just tell me, Dave - is Brexit a leap in the dark or not?

51.9% of the vote 17,410,742 people in the referendum voted leave, and in the general election  45% of the  people voted to get brexit done, so a leap into the dark I would say partially but more voters thought it was viable to succeed... and as we have said many times before in a democratic country, a democratic vote the most votes wins...

45% a majority now?
Tomorrow is just the start of the process. Heaven knows how long it will take and what the outcome will be. Just hope you Brexiteers know what you’re doing because if you don’t and it goes <ovf censored> up, the consequences will reverberate for decades.

45% is not a majority, I said 45% voted in the general election to get brexit done, ie voted tory, and if the tories have 80 seat majority, then the majority of the uk public voted to leave, if its a leap in the dark they are willing to make it...

Interesting statistical twists there, Dave.  Glad you've now confirmed that people voted for a leap in the dark without knowing what will happen.  I'm so relieved you all did that now!

Only 11 months to wait for deal or no deal, only 45% to take the blame.

From Andrew Neil.

"Boris Johnson to outline UK aims for a trade deal with Brussels early next week. He will say new border checks and extra paperwork for British traders are price worth paying to allow UK to diverge from EU regulatory standards."

I wonder how much the 'price worth paying' is going to be and also whose going to pay it?

IF you missed the IF... you must try to keep up.

Leaping out of the bin into the dark.

I wonder what her point is?

She means we have been led like sheep into the unknown. We have been fed false information all along by the Leave campaign. Who in their right mind would follow Johnson, Rees Mogg, Farage, Cash yet we have blindly.  Today we can add Norton Motorcycles to the list of Companies going to the wall down to Brexit fears, they unfortunately will not be  the last.

So what shall we do have fireworks, a new coin, and attempt to strike Big Ben.

Celebrate how you want but don't overdo it.
