The judgement in Scotland is not as important as the fact that the proceedings uncovered papers which showed the current Prime Minister to be a liar ..... as if we didn't know that already.

What's new.

He doesn't want to be the odd one out does he?

The 'Surrender Squad' are all over the place,Jezza hasn't got a plan. For the last three years he's called for a general election, now he suddenly doesn't want one. He's bottled it.

Doesn't need to bottle anything against a lame duck government with a majority of -20 or so,. The PM may have dictatorial powers according to Hailsham, but he does not control Parliament. Under the fixed term set up hatched by Cameron elections are no longer under the PMs control, so the opposition can choose a date to suit after no-deal has been put to bed..

"Majority" of -43

Or minority of 43

John McDonnell dismisses spending review as 'grubby electioneering'

John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, is responding to Javid.

He welcomes Javid to his new job. But he says after that speech, he is starting to miss the old one.

He says his own father was a bus driver too. But he says that is probably all they have in common.

He says the speech was “a compendium of meaningless platitudes”.

He says Javid should take it back to the person who wrote it - Dominic Cummings.

He says Boris Johnson is shouting at him now. He tells Johnson that the last time Johnson shouted at someone, they had to call the police, he said.

Ooof!

He was resting up before delivering his brilliant speech.

The "brilliant" speech that encourages even more back-benchers to leave your <ovf censored>-stain of a party? Maybe Jacob was just tired after being up all night with his children, Sixtus Dominic Boniface Christopher, Peter Theodore Alphege, Mary Anne Charlotte Emma, Thomas Wentworth Somerset Dunstan, Anselm Charles Fitzwilliam and Alfred Wulfric Leyson Pius Rees-Mogg. Shame his wife, Helena Anne Beatrix Wentworth Fitzwilliam de Chair couldn't have helped out.

Just as soon as we've legally stopped no-deal, we'll get our election. Don't worry about that. We've got half a million members who are just itching to get started and get a socialist government in to number ten. There's no rush though, the longer Johnson and his ugly hapless cohorts are in charge, the more damage he's doing to this shambles of a party.

What the hell is that all about?

I said it a few times in this topic, and its still valid, you have to have the no deal option, in any negotiation... if your selling anything without the no deal or walk away option you have to accept whats offered. ie selling a car you want 500 the buyer offers 300 without the no deal your 200 down, and the cars gone.

The eu have said without something positive they wont offer a extention, also said no matter who the pm is, or the government the deal may was told is it. So if we ask to revoke article 50 there're going to say sure welcome back all's forgiven and don't give it a thought, get your feet back under the table... yea dream on.

But we are already in a deal, there has to be a deal to change it or leave it, as with a divorce for example.  My understanding of the no deal clause in Article 50 was to limit the time spent on negotiations, by time wasters, never thnking that anyone would ever really want to leave. .

Blocking no-deal is madness.

It's more or less surrending to the EU and accepting any terms they put forward.

Do the Remainer hypocrites realise that they are simply trying to block the default path they all voted to trigger in Article 50.

And they accuse Brexiteers of not knowing what they voted for?

You couldn't make it up.
