I was actually referring to the post you had quoted from Regal Beagle, geo. I have him on ignore but I keep seeing some some of waffle when posters like yourself quote him.  Sorry if I didn't make that clear.

No need for the apology Jean..... I may have misread it..... I'm getting old

Between the UK and EU..... no

Between the frothing at the mouth leavers and remainers..... yes

I should add that I doubt any deal agreed by UK and EU would get through parliament..... even if they had offered us everything we asked for and wanted no payment in return.

I think you're probably correct.  The Leave campaigners told us all the stuff we would still be able to have after leaving and what a wonderful deal we would get.  Looks like they were talking rubbish.

Can anyone confirm that Boris Johnson is running the country because I see a lot of evidence suggesting it is the unelected Dominic Cummings?

Here is what Jacko51 said about claims that the EU is not democratic:

Quote

We vote for our MEP's. Our elected government appoints the UK representative to the the Council of Ministers - just as the leader of our elected government appoints the members of the Cabinet. What's undemocratic about that?

So go on Jacko, what is undemocratic about our Government appointing people?

U-turn. Again.

You beat me to it.Corbyn’s Greatest Freak Show on Earth plus the Constitutionally Outraged Party could have postponed their conferences.Look at all those extra days they would have to agree on **** all.

Jezza and his Momentum chums are hilarious. In their desperation to get into No.10 they claim this is an "elite establishment coup which is eroding democracy".

Really? With Cameron,Osborne,Bercow,    Blair,Brown,Major,Obama,Heseltine and Branson all in the Remain camp, may I suggest that they are the real elite who are trying to stop Brexit. All this phoney outrage stuff about "stop no-deal" is really all about stopping Brexit.

Anybody else on OVF getting adverts from Johnson to join him or is it because I am in a safe blue seat.

I used to get them from Gavin Williamson until I emailed him back telling him I was going to vote for Jeremy Corbyn. Funny that. 😊

And why not? Don't quote 'democratic decision' yet again as we all know that opinion has changed since 2016 - all the recent opinion polls say so. The only ones that still want Brexit are the dyed in the wool Leavers and the extreme right wing.

On second thoughts they're one and the same.

Patently not true of course as there are many in traditional Labour-voting constituencies where leavers far outweigh remain voters--they're hardly right-wing I would suggest!
