Brexit again...

If we never broke habits we wouldn't have joined mate.... or changed to decimal.... or left the country for holidays etc etc..... or stopped sending letters on paper, with an envelope and stamp.

It took the education system quite a while to allow fountain pens..... and eventually biros..... which are now being questioned for exams.

Well it would seem that the best president we've seen for years and the best primeminster we've seen for years are confident of a big trade deal between the biggest economy and the 5th biggest economy in the world not that we've lost the anchor from around our ankles.

NHS is apparently off the table too.

Any comments on that remainers?

Anchorless ships drift onto the rocks, that is the problem.

It must be sad hearing the US president saying that we're going to have a great trade deal (especically when you bizarrely love trade deals so much) and think it's bad news.

Almost as if it never was about trade and the economy.

Yes it is so predictable as I posted last month the USA deal is a smokescree, to enable Billy Liar to satisfy his RW backers and obtain a No deal.

Obtain a no deal from whom?

The majority of parliament voted for no deal as the default.

The majority of parliament voted against the only deal offered.

Yep, but what do the USA want in return, who do you think holds most of  the cards, the country with 330m people of the one with 65m?  Also you don't seem to realize that comparatively the UK barely manufactures anything these days and the USA's service industry is huge compared to the UK's.

Whatever trade deal Trump agrees with the UK if it leads to a hard border in Ireland Pelosi has said she will block it in Congress.

The best Prime Minister for years, the one who's started to realize the realities and is winding in his expectations, Boris is in for one hard landing.

1. Remainers lied more.

Regal stop it, you know full well that's not true

2. That isn't third world democracy. The third world doesn't really have democracy. I guess you could be talking about a sham democracy whereby the wish of the voters would be ignored if the people in power didn't agree with them? If so, then yes we are living in a 3rd world democracy. At best.

Typical tactic of trying to widen and dilute an argument. I'm talking one referendum not the whole of the UK's democratic political system, the 2016 referendum was hijacked by two charlatans who spouted two huge lies that conned many people into voting leave.

I suppose it's the comparison that counts...... given the competition of May,  Cameron,  Brown,  Blair,  Major..... covering the last 29 years... it's possible to make the argument that at this point in time he is..... but they all appear to be better than sliced bread in the beginning..... arguably even Thatcher which would take us back 40 years.

Since parliament has only sat for 2 or 3 days during Johnson`s term of office, the bread is hardly baked never mind sliced.
