FGR we’re losing then Stevenage had a man sent off after 30 minutes. Made the difference.

If we can get a win or two in the next few games it will make an immense difference because Chesterfield and Barnet are beginning to look doomed and Crewe are doing their best to get into the bottom two.

Tonight's postponement has worked out well for us, everyone has used up their game in hand over us and we're no worse off.

It's depressing but also oddly reassuring that there's a few teams at the bottom who are just as, if not more, rubbish than us.

To be honest Doha I think that it would be a hollow victory because we haven't at the moment played our way out of the bottom places but we are totally relying on the short comings and ineptitude of those who are currently below us. Of course it goes without saying that I want us to survive but it would only be the current management team, Tom Pope, Smithy and a couple of others who I would wish to thank for ensuring our survival. As for the rest I would advise that they find another occupation because they aren't League level players.

By winning a few games we would have no need to be nervously looking at other results as we are at the present time. That though looks a million miles away at the moment thanks to our rotten stinking owner.

The team with the worst form are Grimsby. They have not won a game since 9th Dec. 12 games without a win, scoring only 4 goals and conceding 21.

 

They are heading for none league as things stand, unless they can change things around.

 

We should not however be looking for the results of other clubs to save us. We need to win games. There has been very little or no financial help from the club owner in the Jan window, so we have to rely on Aspin to somehow get winning results.

45 points will do it i reckon, Chesterfield getting six wins in 14 is a large ask at the moment to get 45 with their form and can’t see Barnet winning half their last 14 games.

I thought the results went for us last night apart from Forest Green, we’ve got to look at the games we are going to win, I can see us being safe just, with either Crewe,Barnet,Chesterfield and Grimsby going down for me.
