Getting rid of adams will not stop the rott but adams has got to get rid of the dead wood players. Half of our team have been here for years and done nothing so that tells us we need to offload now.

Yes - should not have re-recruited him based purely on his recent failure record at Sheff Utd.

 

Failed to go into this season with a big enough, skilled enough squad, sticks dogedly to proven failures despite successive poor displays, lets players go who we should have kept and stops players leaving who we should be off-loading.

 

As I have said before this squad will ultimately get him sacked imho and it will have been his own fault.

I was a big fan of Adams, but how he comes across recently, seems to show him in a 'couldnt give a t*** as long as i'm getting paid' attitude.

 

 

There is something missing from the Adams we knew who was here before going to Sheffield Utd. It's like he isnt bothered anymore.

 

I would have Aspo here tommorow. Very impressed with his sides showing against Charlton last week in the cup. Probably would give 100% more than Adams at this moment in time.

I like aspo but did we not go down this road with glover and foyle and that did not turn out. Aspo is doing fine there because where they are, moving up here may be hitting above his weight.

Aspo is my vale hero, and I would dread it going wrong for him here. However there is one big difference between him and glover/foyle. He has learned his trade, got his experience and had some success. Sinnott showed that isn't maybe enough from non league. But I think the comparison isn't the same with glover/foyle. However, I think I would rather someone else just so my memories stay as they are.

I understand that andy and carl but come on, i love aspo too and he's been a hero of mine through my teenage vale days as a fan but experience down in none league means nothing as we saw with sinnott and with the funds our rubbish board has he would be in no better place than adams who has 100 times more experience than aspo, and i'd hate to see him go the same way as the others wanting his head on the chopping board. I just think adams has to get mean and grow some balls and start dumping players like owen, dodds, rigg and so on and bring some experienced players in and not stupid young loan players then no one else wants.
