Like it or not, Norman has put his own cash in to pay the bills over the past few years. You cannot deny that.

I think we should be sustainable but in an ideal world any new owner would have the means to put cash in upfront in order to get the ball rolling, and have some spare for emergencies.

But how has that cash been spent? Yes he keeps throwing money in, but he wants it back, and doesn't add genuine value to the club with how he spends it. He's throwing money at the club funding his own mistakes, yet wants others to pay for it. There's no two ways about it.

To be replaced by whom? Go and find your sugar daddy, then come back and start talking business to us.
Are you totally confident there is NO ONE out there that would be interested at a" reasonable, realistic" price as opposed to the pie in the sky figures Norman is demanding? You are only too willing to deride anyone wishing to suggest to Norman to leave gracefully but are you happy with the slow death of our Club under the inadequate and out of his depth tenure?

The problem is Norman owns the land he may sell the club but who is going to buy a club with out a home Norman has said ages ago he was thinking of putting the club in addmin he would then keep the land and do a st Modwin like the old vic ground and sit on it for years or charge the new club owners a very high rent to use the land on match days I was a season ticket holder but bid not renew this season and at the moment don't think I will be getting one next season the players have a lot to do with it no effort pick up a wage for about 20 hrs a week this club is dying good job the club don't owe the bank any money they would ask for it back and close the club down it his only a matter of time before this happens to some club then the flood gates will open.

Synectics' offer included the ground as well as the club. They offered a decent price, the same as what Norman paid for it. No potential buyer should have to pay him for the mistakes that have taken us to 19th in D4, with a huge squad lacking quality.

Nope. By 'us' I meant the fans.

BTW Onestep, I'm in Penkridge at the moment and for the next half hour having a drink in the Littleton Arms - come and say hello.

Thanks for the invite but alas at the moment due to a blood disorder am unable to imbibe. Also I have to pick the missus up. Have a good pint though.

Mike, the problem is that fans will either say:

*We need to get behind the Club/players/manager at this difficult time;

*Better the devil you know;

*At lest not in Admin;

*Where's this rich businessman?

* delete where applicable.

Not me. Personally I’m past caring

I am not fussed either way if Norm stays or goes. If there is someone out there that can afford to run us at a decent level and will galvanise the fan base then bring em on. If were just going to keep pushing Norm away and then complain when he doesn't fund everyone and everything at the club then we are going nowhere. You can't slate and abuse on one hand but then reach out with the other with a begging bowl and get offended when the answer is no. For all the people on here who are outspoken about Norm there isn't much unrest in the ground and he isn't even at the club day to day.

We are very quick to point fingers and attribute blame as Vale fans. Can anyone honestly say that if he does sell then the next owners (whoever they may be) will not be in for the same treatment within 3 years?
