The non-leagues are littered with clubs for whom it didn't, Hartlepool being he lastest example.

Whatever FGR are paying him, nothing to do with Streete, a different financial season.

What this boils down to is do we think that Gavin Gunning was worth smashing our wage structure for?

During a squabble with posters on OVF earlier in the season Smurf posted a commitment to provide the funds to keep Vale in the Football League or words to that effect. I remember 'cause I asked him the question.

 

If what the Sentinel report is true then given the failure to sign Chris Eagles, Gavin Gunning, Alex Jones and the players Aspo wanted who went to Lge 1 clubs in this Jan transfer window then I 'm concerned about the future of PVFC. Come on Smurf prove the Sentinel wrong there's still time left.

 

There have to be ways to manage the wage structure and not upset the whole apple cart.
