It did look like a foul on him,I agree, but as you rightly say you can't then push the referee. He said he'd slipped! He isn't the first and won't be the last player to miss a big game because of 'self-inflicted' stupidity.

Karma for Yeovil's manager but it doesn't help us.

 

Surely it might? If a key player misses 5 games in a team in a relegation struggle they might just drop a few points they wouldn't have if the same player had been playing. I do hope so - the words poetic justice come to mind.

The referee was infield of the incident and the linesman on the other side of the field. Neither were in a good position to see the tug on the shirt, but we're in the right places you would expect them to be. Haven't see the push but he must have covered a lot of ground to demonstrate with the ref. Bottom line there's no game without a ref and they will miss things because they don't have 360 degree vision. There is an increasing problem with recruiting referee, partly due to the abuse. Really think it should have been much longer for the long-term good of the game. At local league level there will not be any matches in 20 years time due to the fall in people wanting to become referees. One of the big reasons is people not wanting the abuse.

 

Most linesmen wait until the ref makes his decision then indicate the same.

It really annoys me that the linesman has a better view but waits for the ref to make his decision.

Pity the ref didn't kick him like the one on telly last week.

Anything that stops Yeovil picking up points is a blessing.

Hope they get hammered by Manure on Friday.

thought yeovil did well first half although united didn't get into 2nd gear - they are in the check a trade too might just take it out of them for the fight in the league but tbh they look in better shape than us

Didn't know who I wanted to lose more, in the end I opted for Yeovil as they're direct competition to us, manu next round please.

 

More Khana than Karma, hopefully with him missing for their next 4 games they'll struggle in the league without him.
