Good job we got a point last night! Late goals have done us a favour there, particularly Colchester, Creepy Crawley and Swindon. Three points against Barnet in our 6 pointer next week is essential. It's so tight down there now it's untrue, Crewe must be worried now and Yeovil too, they should be our target team to overtake and it's a little ironic we've got them in the cup, pity it won't be for league points. Us and FGR are the current form teams at the bottom and we need to keep up our form to drag ourselves out of the mire, there's still a hell of a lot of work to be done to survive this season although my confidence is growing every game at the moment.

FGR seem to have found their feet now, can see them half way. We need to keep pace with them.

Aspin is sorting the team out now and the dros has been put in the box room. An expulsion to Halifax today, for example. Good we stayed out of the bottom two today after a difficult game last night. We are better than Newport and look where they are in the league. Need to bayonet the wounded now - i.e. Barnet next week and cement their place in the bottom two. Need to be alert to FG improving and I still worry that Chesterfield are a club that should be able to sort themselves out.

Brown was on Gillette Soccer Saturday this afternoon commenting on the Stevenage v Lincoln game.

They haven't won in 11 games, so need to keep their gloom and lost confidence going right from the start.

Over the last 5 games nobody has got more points in L2 than Vale and FGR, only 3 other teams have got the same. Carry on as we are and we will make headway.

Looks like Crewe thought Lincoln were at Stevenage too which explains why Lincoln stuck four past them. Don't know who the Railway Children actually thought they were playing - with themselves, perhaps? :wink:

We may still be third bottom but contrast the current league table with where we were when Brown was sacked.
