Was a really good night. What struck me was Aspins knowledge of players from the conference. Although he's only on a short term contract I don't think it will be long before he's offered a longer one

 

I hope for our sake he does get offered one!

Yeah, exactly my thoughts. My guess is it lasts either until Xmas or end of season right now. Best we could hope for I reckon is that we carry on in fine form & he gets a 2 year deal!

Exactly, I see this as a positive, it's far less cavalier than on previous occasions. Getting the next decision & it's timings right is the real acid test

I suspect it'll be until the end of the season, though for what purpose I do not know. If we go down, Aspin has a good track record in the league below. If we stay up comfortably, he has exceeded the expectations of many considering the predicament we were in when he took over. We should not forget despite 3 excellent wins over the past fortnight just how poor August and September were, in terms of results and performances.
