Very odd substitutions. The obvious one was the last one. If it was Brown with this team and these substitutions there would have been a cry of you dont know what you are doing. I hope Aspin has learnt a lot about his players in this game!

Brown has managed to assemble the worst Vale squad in living memory. It will be familiar to Aspin as they're mostly non league standard.

 

It's going to take ages for Aspo to sort this mess out, especially with some on 2 year contacts!

 

May as well send Roos back. Boot is better. In fact, send all loans back aside from Denton & start again.

Didn't see that coming...but we are in serious trouble when we make individual errors at the back like we did. Second half was poor...again!

Stat wise better team, more shots that all season , but when the opposition have spells on top we need to learn to tighten up and get through it .

Sadly this was the best possible result we could have had. It isn’t managers that need sacking, it is certain players. They are simply not good enough.

 

Having said that I though it was an outrage that Kay managed to keep his place in the team after Stevenage and he was still dreadful. Worral got dropped but has been our best player!

I don't think January is the answer. We need an entire team again. And one with a bit of quality.

 

We need to shop in the football equivalent of Sainsbury's to recruit several decent players in order to stay up. Unfortunately Smurthwaites cheap so we will be lucky to end up in the equivalent of a food bank.
