Brown was on no more that £1000 a week, we just need to face up to facts, that he took an axe to the budget in the year when Bruno ran the team and he's saying it's up from last year, but in real terms it's well down on a competitive L1 budget and certainly not on a par with a competitive L2 budget (up their for promotion)

 

Disgraceful team we have at present, I've said it from the start of the season! Next to none of those players deserve a Vale shirt, what they represent at the moment is a bunch of overpaid, lazy, only in it for the money, wearing this shirt means a pay cheque, don't give a **** about the fans, load of fairies!!! They are a disgrace and should be embarrassed to even open their mouths to the press, fans or anyone associated to the club! When the new manager comes in they should all be put up for sale on a free!

Agree with your first paragraph. Not all of the second one though, we've got homegrown youngsters in and around the squad who are hungry and care IMO, so to tar them with the same brush as some of the players isn't fair. But we've got players like Wilson who don't look like they give a fk right now about the predicament we're in.

No real shock, was on the cards with 4 changes and the fact we cannot keep a clean sheet. They are flying High, what else did we all expect????

 

That goal keeper needs sending back tomorrow and we should ask for a 3 point refund!!! Terrible.

Michael Brown would have been proud - make four changes after a decent performance, drop your best two midfield players and then, to top it all, put your leading scorer (with the best goals to minute ratio in the league) on the bench. And leave him there until there are just 13 minutes left.

 

Micky is right - Norman needs to make the new appointment soon and preferably before the weekend when we face Stevenage (who warmed up tonight with a 0-2 away win at Carlisle).

 

Seriously, Norman, it's death or glory now so we need the best money can buy.

The issue isn't a budget one. We lost to a team who will have a much lower budget than us. But we probably have a squad twice the size. Problem is that it's ****.
