Bye bye Uber

Recommended Posts

1) You can see the driver before they turn up and how they are rated, black cabs you have no idea

2) Your journey is tracked and therefore safer, black cabs are not

3) It is far cheaper

Seems a no brainer to me

Notice the third link, a neutral consumer affairs site where they get 1 and a bit stars out of 5 - of course ***** reported they were 4.92 out of 5, then admitted that was THEIR mark of him - our own 'Ryan Burge' of a poster actually thought we'd be interested in what mark HE got instead of uber.

Literally millions of compliants worldwide - but as I say, they will have to clean up their act at the least so this ban is a great thing.

Just as I was saying, they will have to show some decency now -

Mayor Khan working in the interest of ALL Londoners, not just the privileged few multinational profiteers and their Tory friends. Great to see an apology which means they admit they were dirt. Love the shades and picture of the very businesslike looking Uber boss Mr K halfway down my link who Im sure you'd all welcome into your home instantly for a nice cup of tea.

I genuinely thought the luddites had 'died out' a long time ago but seems they are alive and well..why aren't; they clamouring for the return of the original Hackney carriage..they are a lot more environmentally friendly than black cabs, small time operations rather than big business, more horses would be alive and well looked after cos of strict regulation, the knowledge would be critical, cheap for the consumer, lots of them offering employment cos of the long journey times ect etc..it's a sure fire winner

The new CEO is an interesting character....massive success at Expedia, big player in their charity/giving programs and very anti Trump

Will be interesting watching him trying to transform Uber..off to a good start

You admit they need transforming - that is at last something. Some of the real pillock posters on here just thik that anything cheaper and unregulated must be better.

If they improve and become decent, then fine - but they have a long way to go and it should be remembered that multinationl companies dmage the economy and jobs and evade tax in the contrieswhere they become parasites.

Such wit- there must be a job for your on stage. Or stage-coach perhaps.

The horses could produce manure for you, or perhaps you have enough already.

Sorry to see you are stupid enough to be taken in by fake news from a dirty amerikan website, try reading something decent for a change it might help your posts not get censored for naughty words (tut tut - the Mary Whitehouse of OVF using such filthy language). Hows manager-in-waiting Ryan these days ?
