It wasn't in a Praise & Grumble program, but whatever the scheduled program at the time was (8-10pm) - something to do with Rob Adcock I think.

Excellent interview.

 

Before I heard it, I thought the utter shambles that Port Vale has become was entirely down to the narcissistic, bullying, ignorant fool who owned it. Now I know that none of it was his fault, it was all down to unnapreciative fans, Paul Wildes, scumbag fans, Colin Garlick, violent fans, Michael Brown, stupid fans, Jose Morinho and moaning fans....apologies to anyone I've missed out.

NS also said in last night's car-crash interview that during the Rob Page era, 'something happened' between Page and Brown and NS stepped in to prevent Brown from leaving the club.

 

How he can come out and say he didn't want Brown as manager is beyond me given everything he's said and done since Brown came to the club has been aimed at making him manager one day.

 

If anyone was to collate a book about what Smurf has said,what he has posted on social media forums it would baffle Stephen Hawkin,Brian Cox etc.

Yes of course, Rob Page, cant believe I missed him out given the pivotal role he played in our demise, finishing mid-tablei in L1 and all that, pffft. I also missed out Rob Fielding, this forum, oh and did i mention the fans?

TBH I didn't think the interview was that bad, typical Smurf in many ways. He's far from perfect but I think he's done the right thing in stepping in to dismiss Brown, who'd totally lost the plot. If he only gets one decision right during his tenure of the club it's coming up. I'm sure he genuinely wouldn't want to go down in history as being the person at the helm when the club lost its league status. As for the fans they need to realise that he ain't going anywhere this season like it or not but we do need to start supporting the new Manager whoever that may be.

Bitterness and division will lead to only one thing - failure.
