Westley is a complete *** that gets his sides playing dirty football, however i think he would do ok. Failed at Newport but had lots of success with Stevenage at this level. I certainly don't think he's as bad as some are making out. Although I would take the likes of Powell and Allen every day of the week over him. I'd absalutley love us to announce Powell as manager tomorrow. Obviously won't happen though.

I disagree, I think Westley would be a very good appointment. He appears to be a fairly obnoxious fellow but I'd put money on a top-half finish this season if he comes in soon.

Chris Powell would be a better choice but surely is unlikely to take the job. I fear Brian Horton would be a disaster.

I'd suggest The Exiles were in a far worse situation than Vale are now but I admit Flynn performed a remarkable rescue act when he succeeded Westley. I thought they were dead and buried. Actually, Flynn could be one to look out for in the future.

Here's a novel idea - instead of waste money on two wages for a DOF and a manager, why not just pool both salaries and EMPLOY A PROPER MANAGER.

Somebody basically highlighted to Norman that Sky had suggested Horton and Westley were being considered and he said that they'd also suggested we would have a manager on Tuesday and that "the sources or sauces aren't exactly HP or Daddies"
