My dog would do a better job than Ryan Burge. You are right that he is, and always will be, still shopping in Poundland, though perhaps we both ought to be careful that that retail outlet does not sue us for tarnishing their reputation.

My MA as D of F / Rob Page as manager suggestion was never one that I seriously thought had a chance of coming to fruition, and was partially to remind those who blasted Page to 'be careful what you wish for'. I liked Page as a person, and still think he will go on to manage a very decent club at some time in the future.

 

And that's pretty much what I said when the usual suspects started to hound Adams out after a bad start to the season.

 

I think we as Vale fans will always get what we want, which is a club in turmoil and in some sort of crisis. 25 years of one crisis after another cannot be a coincidence, and that's only as long as I can remember and the only constant in those 25 years?

Powell would be fantastic. Did very well at Charlton with that mad Belgian owner. Obviously struggled with Huddersfield but they were scraping by to the stay in the Championship every year at that point. By all accounts a top bloke too.

 

Without wanting to sidetrack the issue, would be an interesting appointment after Smurf JFH 'racist minority of fans' comments. We'd definitely get some media attention.

 

Either Powell, Aspin, or Coleman would be brilliant. Struggle to see it being a contracted manager considering there's been interviews this week and there's been no news about it.

As for you applying, well why not - but it would be a touch ironic if I ended up coming on here demanding your removal if you didn't get the right results, don't you think?
