It's not the size of the budget it is how you spend it. Unless you are Man City / PSG you can't afford to waste it on speculative chancers. I am not suggesting Micky Adams is the answer, but we need someone who can gel a squad of average players into a competitive team. (Given we have lost the transfer window we are stuck with what we have).

I want the club to have an idea of what its ethos is, what it wants to achieve, and appoint within that framework. Currently we keep swapping depending on which ******* is in charge.

An another point, it's laughable anyone thinks we have a budget similar to Accrington, and many other teams. Teams like Accrington and Crewe will have much smaller budgets than us, they will just be using it far more sensibly. Just consider that they have probably only used one keeper this season where we have already used four. It's not because of our budget that we are bottom.

Lou Macari is the most ridiculous post yet. Presume it's said in jest.

Spends his life in the bookmakers of Stoke on Trent dressed like a tramp.

But he has a chippy named after him I guess

Nello then?

Although he said he would manage anybody except Port Vale.

'LIKE' a tramp? He runs his own doss house where he can party with his mates, drinking White Ace, sitting in their pi55 sodden tracky bottom and reminiscing about the glory days of Steino the T0sser!

I think he sold his chippy outside Old Trampford to buy a container load of Lonsdale sportswear for him and his mates at Lou's Wino Lounge.
